On episode #10 of The Underdog Mentality Podcast we catch up with Espy Nominated, Professional Baseball Player, Sean Smith. On June 14th, 2000, Sean was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates at the young age 17. During his professional career he went through a whorl wind of success, setbacks, injuries and much more. Including the homerun play that got him nominated for an espy but also sidelined him to a gruelling rehab program. Had a great conversation with my brother. Filled with knowledge, wisdom and hard truths.

Sean aka Smitty, has accomplished some great things and will continue to accomplish great things. He has his documentary coming out in the near future, definitely something to look out for. From humble beginnings to where he Is now, goes to show that it doesn’t matter where you come from, as long as you know where you want to go, its possible.
